Loyal Pit Bull Leapt Into Action To Save His Human From Venomous Snake

Haley McCormack was on her way to her porch in Davidson County, Tennessee, when her dog Arlo sprung into action to save her. Haley had missed a venomous copperhead snake hidden in the nook beside the stairs. Arlo lunged at the snake as it reared back to attack, grabbing its tail and shaking it back and forth.

Arlo rescued his owner from the snake, although he was bitten three or four times in the face. Arlo was brought to Nashville's BluePearl Pet Hospital, where he got anti-venom, pain medicine, and CBD oil. His neck and face were both severely swelled; nonetheless, he is recuperating nicely and is anticipated to fully recover.

"It's incredibly remarkable to realize how much dedication and love he had for me, to risk his own life for mine," McCormack told WTVF. "We're both fortunate to have each other."

Unfortunately, Arlo was not the only dog treated at BluePearl Pet Hospital that day for a snake bite, according to the hospital. According to the animal hospital, they've already had over a dozen snakebite cases in their area this summer.

Prepare to be amazed by this hero in the video below. Dogs continue to wow us by not only providing unconditional affection but also serving as heroes in our lives in a variety of ways! Have fun with the narrative!
